Zoya Tilda & Jesy from the Tickled & Bubbly Summer 2014 Collection

I forgot why I love Zoya!
Sharing the Summer cream formula Tilda and glitter Jesy from the 2014 Tickled & Bubbly Collection !

Tilda is a great double coater, bright green and quick drying. It levels so well (I’ll say it’s the perfect Essie Quality) that it gives the smooth salon finish.

Jesy is firey coral orange metallic holo featuring the exclusive liquid-metal holographic jelly formula with golden undertones.
Applies sheer, great formula. Picture shoes 1-2-3-4 coats starting from L-R..

The Jesy is a great shimmer but I like it more layered over Tilda.. Single coat shown :

Essie Sittin Pretty From the Neons Too Taboo 2014 Summer Collection

Ok fine, I bought the whole collection !!! 😛
Maybe I’ll miss a few lunches but I swear this was more important 😀😀

Sittin Pretty , This is a lovely lavender which pops when applies over white base polish. Pictures show 3 coats.

Essie Roarrrrange from Haute In The Heat Summer 2014

I couldn’t find this color the last time in store so when I did find this baby, I got her home.
The Essie Roarrrrange.
It’s a great cream formula, double coater.. Fiery and sexy bright orange !

It’s definitely brighter than any other orange I have from Essie so far.

OVERALL: love the bright!!!

Essie Haute In The Heat Collection Summer 2014 Swatches

The first one Is Ruffles & Feathers, called the peacock teal.
Great formula, cream glossy finish. I love it! 2 coats for the pictures.

I was a bit disappointed that it was probably a dupe to my LVX Viridian, turns out LVX is blue toned while Essie is green .. So I’m glad. The swatches show 2 coats of Essie on pointer and ring and 2 coats of LVX on middle and little finger. Personally Essie wins for me…

Next up, collection namesake Haute In The heat, a hot Rasberry color. Great formula, thick single coater for coverage. Cream glossy finish.
Not a huge fan if the color as I have quite a few in the similar shades, so I don’t see why I would spend $8USD again..although I did !

Finally, Strut Your Stuff, Cobalt Aqua Blue and the best of the 3!!
Single thick coater, great cream glossy finish, perfect in every sense.

I’m addicted is 3 coats and lighter colored blue. Strut Your Stuff is darker blue and single coater. Swatch with I’m addicted on middle finger…

OVERALL: Fun collection. But not absolutely unique. I will pick the formula from this collection and the colors from the Neons 2014.

Opi Ford Mustang Collection 2014 Released

I have been looking forward to this collection for a while now .. Primarily because I love nail polishes and my 5 yrs old loves Mustang !!!

Essie Neon Too Taboo Summer 2014 – Too Taboo

My first purchase from the Essie Neons Summer 2014 collection
I’M Addicted was a big hit for me.
Now, I was sure I wasn’t buying any Neons since they are not in my “comfort” color zone .. But I couldn’t resist the pink color!

So, anyways .. This is the collection’s highlight .. Too Taboo .. A bright hot pink .. !

I won’t call it a real neon pink , but it’s a hot pink for sure 🙂

Single thick coater ,great formula, levels itself to a streak free finish .. Dries to a semi-matte !!

All pictures in direct sun , no top/base coat.

OVERALL: Yea… All right , I love it ! I couldn’t find any dupes in my collection, the closest was Essie The Girls are Out (it has a suspended glitter, Too Taboo is a prefect cream, the colors were also a little varied.. But the bottle broke before I could picture them ) … But Too Taboo is A must buy for summertime 🙂

Essie Summer 2014 Too Taboo – I’M Addicted

I have been a bit disappointed by the pervious Essie collection .. Hide and Go Chic, so when I spotted the Essie Neons (expected to hit stores May 1st , 2014) today at Harmon Discount Store, I was super excited !!

Sadly colors didn’t look super “neons” or unique to be purchased but I liked this the bright blue baby that I brought him home 🙂
This is I’M Addicted .. A bright blue .. NOT NEON .. Just a bright blue .. Great formula .. Needs 4 coats to build up but levels out well .. Pictures are sans top/base coat ..

I played around a bit with my dotting tool and some color:

OVERALL : Fun color, easy application , good formula. Not a Neon by any means but yes this seemed the most catchy color amongst the whole collection. Let me know what you all think 🙂

JLo American Idol Nails – L’oreal upcoming Summer 2014 Collection

Hello dear friends !!

I have something really exciting to share.. For all nail polish or American Idol or JLo fans , if you are following American Idol.. last night the best part was Jennifer Lopez’s “Pantone Color of the Year Radiant Orchid” color nail paint .. 🙂
Yup, now I love American Idol but nothing beats a good show with great fashion .. Here is a picture from the show so you will know what’s the dealio..

I read it somewhere a while back and it so makes sence .. When you can’t afford stuff , you need to pay for it.. And when you can afford everything, you get it all for free.. Damn right !!
