This is the Longwear flawless sunscreen powder makeup with an SPF 15. For a Net Weight of 0.45Oz it costs $52.50, and I couldn’t be more glad. It’s available in 15 shades for perfect skin match.
Mine was purchased from Nordstrom.
It comes with a special face sponge that pick just the right product and renders a great medium/full coverage. Sponge makes it much easier to use and blend than a brush that usually comes with Chanel (or the other face compacts). It’s also much easier to get coverage on hard to reach face corners.
Within minutes, the powder embraces the skin like perfection.
Being very fine, the powder is very forgiving to application imperfections. And as always, it carries the fresh subtle Chanel fragrance.
This is a Without(L) and With (R) comparison, taken indoors with artificial light. Notice the subtle glow on skin with application:
OVERALL : It a definite investment, but I guarantee you are not going back. While in store, give it a try and you will be compelled to own it.
This is my first Chanel purchase and I am loving it!
Lightweight, multi-stripe powder offers a palette of effortless effects. Acts as a highlighter, sculpting powder, bronzer and blush — all with a sheer, natural finish and broad-spectrum sun protection. Limited edition.
With two color shades, I got the darker one matching more to my natural skin tone. It’s a palette of three colors that can be used on their own need based or best used by swirling a face/kabuki brush and then sweeping across the face. The coverage is very minimal, so for the perfect skin it’s great on its own and for those less than “photoshopped” skin , I recommend use over a foundation.
It doesn’t add color but just a gentle sheen.
Smells mild musk and Divine. Comes in the elegant velvet pouch and the ever classic Packaging.
OVERALL: It’s a great product, although it’s more of an indulgence than effect. Finishes matte and gladly has no shimmer. Retails at $65 USD. It’s limited Edition if you are looking to purchase, you might wanna hurry. To be most honest, I can achieve similar sheer coverage with much cost effective brands. But for once, I’m happy spoiling myself😊
Hello beautiful people!
It’s great how winter has not yet fully set in and the runways are walking Spring collections.
I have always loved makeup (yes we all have) but I don’t use it much. Makeup can’t make us beautiful but can surely make us feel pretty. And it’s always less is more with makeup. That’s what I notice in Chanel 2014 Spring Collection. The colors range from soft pallets of pinks and orange and of course RED! I don’t know of it’s just me but nothing beats red in makeup , and you can never overdo on red 🙂
Back to the point, check out the colors (and the price tag .. Ouch !) ….
Along with all these pretties the two nail polishes for the Spring 2014 are The Charivari is defined as a soft purple/mauve and the Tapage is a bright pink.
Check out Swatches here at the Huda Beauty blog. These will be in retail stores January 2014. I Also I wanted to share the latest runway face looks from the Chanel 2014, courtesy Allure …
Let me know what you all feel ……
