OVERALL: You can see how the lip colors are rich and pigmented. The matte are true colors, very strangely they are the first matte finish ones that don’t dry my lips… The cream finish have a shimmer to them , that add a dual color and a depth to the color. This adds a well interesting dimension to your overall makeup look.

Playboy Lipstick – In The Pink & Bubblegum Pink

I always associated Playboy with the “educational and inspirational” magazines, bunny ears and the bunny costume, playboy mansion and the endless parties. I had no idea they made makeup, and yes the “traditional” makeup!
I share two lipsticks I got a chance to review ..

OVERALL: Very creamy lipsticks I must say. Easy to glide and apply. Hydrating. The only disappointing factor was the Bubblegum pink Color, doesn’t go with my skin tone a bit. The other color, In The Pink, was just my kind. Will be definitely wearing it in the future. I believe these sell for under £2 Each, so you cannot beat that price.

Smooch Bronzer

A relatively new brand but it has become extremely popular and has it’s dedicated followers.
Smooch is a budget brand that promises to deliver the high cosmetic quality at a price that will not make you choose cosmetics over a meal (yeah, we all have been there .. Done that!)

Anyways, moving on … The product comes in a lingering inspired golden box that has lace detailing. The compact itself is very sleek. The outside casing has a special coating that makes it slip resist, perfect for those accidental slips especially in public restrooms. I don’t know about you all but I have sadly sacrificed a ton of my makeup that way.

Back to the Bronzer … !!

The brush that comes along has very soft bristles, feels expensive! The bronzer although looks tightly packed, is super pigmented, so a little goes a long way. On blending the powder doesn’t give a “sun burnt” look at all but adds a nice golden glow. All in all, the price is a steal but the product is a bigger loot…! Highly impressed ..

Close observation shows a set of 6 colors in each brick pan: Each brings it’s unique finish and tint that blend so perfectly together.

Retailing at $46 USD for .23 oz/ 6.6g (compared to .4oz/ 10.3g for $44 USD Shimmer brick) it can be quite a pricey Investment. Comparing to Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick In Pink Quartz.

OVERALL: I have applied the powder using a blush brush on the cheeks and it adds the perfect Spring glow. Using the Brightening brick as a blush and Shimmer Brick applied as a highlighter adds that fresh defined look to the face. You don’t need to worry about over applying as it requires to be built-up into achieving the desired color depth. I will not be surprised if they disappear off the shelves! This is one makeup item you cannot go wrong with…. Thank me later!

A Hint Of Cuba : Cheek And Lip Stain From W7

For those who have been following my blog, I had posted my first review of W7 Makeup. I was thoroughly impressed by the quality and ease of application. The foundation still remains amongst my favorites. The cheek blush stick and bronzer and always in my carry bag for quick touch-ups.

This is another one such product. In a 10 ml bottle, it appears more like a traditional but flashy nail polish.
Inside is a thick nail polish brush and a color to make your cheeks blush!

A hint of Cuba is a Coral/Orange tinted color, and although it appears rather bright to look at, on blending it gives a subtle tint of Spring blossoms on your cheeks. For lips I have noticed that the best way is dabbing on lips with the brush and blending with do her tips for an orange Popsicle colored tinted lip color.

It appears to be excessive but it blends to very subtle touch of color. Blending is effortlessly perfected with using your fingertips, no tools needed, Hence perfect addition to your cosmetic bag.

OVERALL: I would compare them to the widely popular Cheek Stains from Benefits Cosmetics but for a fraction of the price. It lasts hours without the need to touch up. They can be purchased online via EBay, Amazon, Directly from the W7 Cosmetics. Check out the other products from the brand, I highly recommend trying them out.
