I received the Samples for both the mascara’s and have been equally excited about them both. But comparing then side by side maybe made me choose a winner …
The Perversion is
Our ultra-creamy, lengthening and volumizing mascara features triple-black pigments and a deeply nourishing ingredient blend—for bigger, blacker, badder lashes.
Retails at $22 USD, The best feature has to be the applicator brush! It’s so precise and spread out, doesn’t clump the lashes and doesn’t hit the lids with color touches. The formula dries very quick but doesn’t leave that “dry pulled” lashes kinda feel. Although it did need 2-3 coats for building effects.
This is a comparison of brushes, top one is Mac Zoom Lash and bottom one is Urban Decay Perversion:
Inspite of the Mac being a thinner brush it still touches my eye lids with the color.
Retailing at $16 USD, The Mac zoom Lash is
Major drama. Lasts all day. Creamy, velvety formula builds density and conditions. Feels light, supple. Ultra-sculpted brush has three-sided fibres to embrace and separate each lash, hugging every curve. Coats in one stroke from root to tip. No smudging.
This is a comparison with the Urban Decay Perversion 3 coats on Left in the picture and Mac Zoom Lash 2 coats on the Right in the picture.
OVERALL: Although the Urban Decay might be a quick drying formula and a great applicator the Mac Zoom Lash is definitely a better choice for coverage and dramatic effects. Actually The perfect product will have Urban Decay Brush and quick drying formula with the Mac product.
I just went back to an old bottle of LVX Greige.
The perfect blend of gray and brown, Greige is a refreshing new neutral that conquers the traditional fall gray. The subtle brown undertones help this dynamic hue pair well with every color in the palette. Greige is the perfect neutral for fall and winter and it grounds this season’s collection with its versatility.
The polish applies so well, needs 2 coats for a creamy streak free finish. I love this color for a prefect blend with a formal look or a colorful attire.
At $16 a bottle, I must say that I am yet to see any other polish being able to justify the price tag. I own a few different colors from this brand and they have never stained, never chipped and have been the longest wear polishes I own.
And this is after 4 days, sans top/base coat…
So that’s Greige, for someone who doesn’t like neutrals and find them non-flattering to my skin tone .. This one is a big winner.
I love Sally Hansen and the products never disappoint me.. So with the new Color Foil collection I just hAD to try it.
With a range if 10 shades to pick from I chose the purple being the most conservative of the lot.
The packaging is really catchy sadly the formula seemed a bit thick for my liking. Pictures show single coat. Polish is Quick drying too.
OVERALL: As much as I love Sally Hansen, this has been a disappointment. For $8 USD it’s not really a great buy. Unless you are in absolute need for a foil finish, I suggest you pass. The polish is the same color as the exterior of the bottles.
I have never a blush/bronzer user but recently seem to be drawn into using more and more of them. Henceforth, I have officially begun my obsession.
The Fit Me Blush comes with an application brush. It’s a pressed powder and gives very subtle tint and shimmer. Hardly noticeable on my palm but looks really fresh on the cheeks with a sun kissed look. Available in 12 shades.
The Dream Bouncy is so soft to touch and creamy! I blended with my foundation brush (I prefer it for more clean finish) but it can be applied with finger tips. It’s a great product and looks really fresh and clean. Gives a subtle look, I’m impressed.Available in 10 shades.
OVERALL : I am reading mixed reviews about the Fit Me Blush for it being too sheer, but the company says that it’s just a subtle sheer shimmer, so the product follows to its detail. So if you are looking for effects this may not be the onefor you but if your want is fresh sun glow then this is great!
The Dream Bouncy is great for a “blush” look. Adds that fresh faced look. The staying power is great!! Easy to use and can be great to carry along in your purse, highly recommend it. Plus it’s so subtle yet gives the tint that I adore the results….
Give these a try and you are sure to want more 😊

We just hosted a party to celebrate my younger one’s First BirthDay. For a well put together, but no need for touchups look this is what I used :
1-NYX HD Studio photogenic primer. (after using quite a few brands, this is my favorite!)
2-Revlon photo ready concealer on nose, under eyes, on the lips and around the mouth.
3- Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation applied in a single layer by finger tips.
4- Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush applied with a brush under cheek bones and around the jaw line.
5- Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Multi-Color Powder Applied with a Kabuki Brush over the face.
6- Nyx Lip Primer over the Lips.
7- Lancôme Neutral color Palette used a white color around the inner corner of the eyes, finished with earthy golden color on the eyelid.
8- Urban Decay Water proof Eyeliner in (Black) Zero applied around the eye.
9- A generous spray of the Urban Decay Makeup Settign Spray over the face.
10- Mac mascara in black on the lashes.
11- Finished with L’oreal Extraordinaire 303 Rouge Allegro.
And Done !
Except for one time reapplication of the lip color I was good from 9am to past 6pm … After which i took off the makeup.
This worked so great for me! The skin felt fresh and yet clean.
Let me know if anything you would like Swatched….. 😀
It comes in a square tube with a twist n open cap. The tube looks just like the NARS Lipgloss. They come in a range of 15 colors in 0.20 Fl Oz/ 5.9 ml of product in Each.

The L is single and R is triple swipe.
Top shot is taken in indirect sunlight and bottom picture in direct sunlight.
OVERALL : best results come from swiping on lips and then dabbing. It just adds a slight shine and no color. It feels light on lips for a gloss and definitely a good (and more pocket friendly) pass for NARS. It lasts fine but like any other gloss looses the shine but maintains the hydration after a meal. For under $8 USD, it’s a great buy!
I got this at Target and I have not seen it sold elsewhere so I’m a bit unsure of its availability. The color is called “Coral Crush”, this seemed to be the most subtle and yet Summer apt color for me.
Applies really well, soft and buttery. You can feel the Shea butter and it instantly hydrates the lips. I won’t say it’s flavored because I’m trying to lick my lips and I get no taste (yup, I did that to put in the post 😕)
Doesn’t last too long though, I guess it’s nothing out of character for a lip balm.
OVERALL: A nice tinted color and very moisturizing, although you will need to reapply after a bit. Can be well used as a base under a lipstick. Comes in a “twist from the bottom” packaging and 4g/ .141oz retails at $8. So what do you think about it, please do let me know!
I forgot why I love Zoya!
Sharing the Summer cream formula Tilda and glitter Jesy from the 2014 Tickled & Bubbly Collection !
Tilda is a great double coater, bright green and quick drying. It levels so well (I’ll say it’s the perfect Essie Quality) that it gives the smooth salon finish.
Jesy is firey coral orange metallic holo featuring the exclusive liquid-metal holographic jelly formula with golden undertones.
Applies sheer, great formula. Picture shoes 1-2-3-4 coats starting from L-R..
The Jesy is a great shimmer but I like it more layered over Tilda.. Single coat shown :
This is direct sunlight:
OVERALL : You decide 😉
I have started to like this brand more and more. It started with the Makeup Setting Spray to their eyeliner (review comes soon) and now reviewing the nail polish.
Chaos is a cobalt blue with silver shine. The bottle top is a cool skeleton face, that really adds an impressive look. The formula seemed “heavy”, I appled 2 coats. The first coat didn’t add much until second put on. Although it applies well, it’s a very different formula compares To what I have ever used… Best description is “heavy” … And Not thick”. The pigmentation is so intense that my camera couldn’t really capture it.
OVERALL: Retails at $15 USD. It’s a nice color but there are many others out there more budget friendly.
