Sally Hansen InstaDri Cinna-Snap

Hello Bloggies !!

After my frustration and disappointment with the Sally Hansen Triple Shine polish, I wanted to use the InstaDri polish to judge the better one..
Purchased from local CVS, the triple shine costs $4.99 and the InstaDri about $5.49 (before tax). Prices may store depending on where you buy from.

Both have the same thick brushes. Insta-dri is single coat opaque, quick dry formula. The two polishes have a difference in the formula consistency. The Triple shine was very gooey, lumpy and thick, where as the InstaDri was a bit runny. A look at the picture shows how the polish was still dripping towards the bristles although I had thoroughly wiped the bristles of the polish.

I also have a comparison of the thickness of the brush to original Sally Hansen brush (on right)

The swatches are single coats, no top coats

And this is with a top coat….

Not a huge difference in appearance with the top coat.

Overall: Won’t say I am disappointed. It certainly did dry pretty quick, color was a dark burgundy – brick red color. I won’t agree that it’s a 60 second to dry polish, but yes few mins and done, much faster than many others.
I liked the color and the new look, although the brush was a bit annoying because no matter how much I wiped, the thick brush stick had color on it. Each time I was applying polish on my nails, the polish kept flowing down and settling on nails 😦

Thanks for reading …
