The original Cherries in the Snow was launched in 1953. The advertisement featured one of the world’s first supermodels Dorian Leigh.
The Nail polish became so popular that Revlon introduced “matching lips with fingertips” campaign and started selling lipstick of the same color and name !
I have this polish since 2011 and it’s still amongst my favorites !! It’s a great formula, two coats work the best and quick drying.
The name is so captivating. This is not a red but pink with hints of fuchsia .. Personally, I don’t think anyone can NoT like this color! Available in almost all drugstores and this is a classic from the 50’s .. Read article from Fashion.Style.Beauty that says how this was amongst the favorite colors ( lips) of Maryln Monroe Revlon sure did something right for nothing has changed in the polish for over 60 years … This is a polish you will fall in love with 🙂 check out this video made as a tribute to this shade that created history .. http://vimeo.com/nicolasaintmarc/cherriesinthesnow
